Kate Meadows is an author crafting big concept ideas and embracing female friendship storylines, often featuring fat-positive leads who are less than perfect. Her new novel ZUZU'S WORLD jumps out of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and into an outer space that includes disco rats and killer roller derbies and scary hot goblin kings. A previous 2018 Pitch Wars mentee, Kate completed her first novel MONSTER RIOT! after spending every Halloween daydreaming about being the fourth Sanderson Sister.
As an art director working in marketing and branding, Kate knows the importance of storytelling and voice. She has a Bachelor’s in English Literature, and attended the 2011 NYU Summer Publishing Institute.
